More remedial work, including re-surfacing, is taking place at Narberth's Jesse Road.
"This will be part of a safe route to school initiative to encourage more walking from nearby town centre locations," said County Councillor Wynne Evans, who recently held a site visit there with county council officers.
"I'm also delighted that a new vehicle-activated sign to reduce speed will be up and running shortly along the road which should make motorists more aware of the nearby school."
