Why is it that when I carefully place my garden waste in expensive green bags, it is hurled into the disposal lorry along with all the other waste in ordinary black bags?
We all know the answer. It is the perennial shortage of funds. Nevertheless, it is high time we began recycling our waste in an organised way. If other countries and counties in the UK can do it, so should we in Pembrokeshire.
Let us make 'God's own country' as eco-friendly as we possibly can. We must make some sacrifices for the sake of our children and all future generations.
