THE Tenby branch of the Royal British Legion is on the lookout for a secretary to help with duties such as minuting meetings. The RBL, who meet bi-monthly at the town's Hazelwell Club, on St. Florence Parade, are hoping someone will come forward to fulfil the role, "We're desperate for someone to take over the role on a voluntary basis after our secretary left the area," explained Tenby's branch president, Gordon Prime. "We're fearful that if someone doesn't come forward that the branch may be under threat of folding. "Anyone can do it, you don't have to be an ex-serviceman. The duties include taking minutes of our meetings and handling correspondence," he added. The next meeting of the RBL is on Thursday, September 25, at 12.30 for 1 pm.
