At the annual general meeting of the Pembrokeshire Womern's Section of the Royal British Legion, held at St. David's Hall, Prendergast, on Saturday, a warm welcome was extended to Mrs. Dora Loy, the national committee member for Wales from Monmouthshire.
The following officers were elected for the coming year: president - Mrs. D. Vernon, Pembroke Dock; vice-president - Mrs. B. Bateman, St. Davids, chairman - Mrs. D. Warlow, Haverfordwest; vice-chairman - Mrs. P. Thomas, St. Davids; secretary - Mrs. S. Locker, Haverfordwest; treasurer - Mrs. J. Stammers, Milford Haven; county standard bearer - Miss P. Jenkins, Narberth; press officer - Mrs. M. Evans, Haverfordwest.
The next county meeting is on March 14, 2009, at Pembroke Dock.
