Pembrokeshire Ramblers left Stepaside Iron Works on a 10-mile wooded walk. The route lay via Staggers Hill, Colby Lodge, showing the first spring colours, and Little Craig-y-borion Wood to Horsemanstone. The walkers followed the diverted and unwaymarked Landsker Borderlands Trail to Blaencilgoed. From Little Ludchurch they used the newly re-opened footpath to the church. The Knights Way was used from roadside farm to enter the extensive woods, then it was by Pen-y- cwm-slack on the south of Borderlands Trail and the Landsker Borderlands Trail, which both morphed into the Miners Walk, which led down to the finish at Stepaside. All trails were free from obstruction. Next walks: May 7 - 10.30 am Narberth Car Park, Jim Rose (01646) 690423 (medium). May 17 - 11 am Pontfaen Car Park, Liz Taylor (01437) 720667 (medium).
