Members of Tenby Chamber of Trade and Tourism are calling on railway operators to halt the further demise of the rail network in South West Wales.

When a copy of the group's letter to the SWWITCH travel plan co-ordinator came before the town council on Tuesday night highlighting the recent reductions and downgrading of rail services from South West Wales to London and other destinations and asking operators for 'encouragement to maintain and develop this important transport artery to the region,' members gave their backing to the Chamber and agreed to write a letter of support as well.
