Following Storm Claudia and Friday’s wild weather - rail services to west Wales are currently on hold - but are expected to be operational by midday.
Providing an update, Pembrokeshire County Council said that the issue with rail services, may increase traffic headed for the rugby in Cardiff along roads with patchy surface water.
A spokesperson for PCC shared: “An overnight ferry Dublin to Holyhead was diverted to Fishguard due to high winds. No other major wind impacts for the county.
“For Pembrokeshire, a flood alert remains for South Pembrokeshire catchments, including the Ritec, which is still comfortably below the levels of 5th/6th November.
“The only other alert currently is for the Western Cleddau, others have been removed.
“The road at Gumfreston has been closed, along with Clickets Lane (at the request of police).
“The only other road is that from Honeyborough to Rosemarket.
“All in all an improving picture, though the catchment at the Ritec will take time to clear, but will be helped by neap tides increasing the operation of the outfall at South Beach.”
