Eight West Wales photographers are set to come together to stage a major exhibition at the Queen's Hall, Narberth. Believed to be the first such event in the county, Phot'05 will showcase an exciting and diverse collection of work. "This is a unique opportunity to view such a wide range of photography, and meet the people behind the lens," said event organiser Malcolm Wilson, of Llawhaden. The work will range from stunning images of Pembrokeshire's coast and landscapes to vibrant photographs of wildlife and foreign travel, flora and fauna. Styles include contemporary macro (close-up) images, dramatic black-and-white, reportage, panoramic and photo documentary. Work will be available not only as photographic prints, but also as large canvasses and other contemporary mediums to limited edition custom prints, postcards and greeting cards. The exhibition will be held on Saturday, August 13, and work will be available to buy on the day, as well as to order. The photographers are; Jenny Blackmore, Mike Crutchley, Melvin Gray, Ian Jebbett, Simon Roberts, Philip Williams, David Wilson, and Malcolm Wilson.
