THE UK's No.1 tribute to Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath are playing at the Queen's Hall, Narberth, tomorrow (Saturday).
The Sabbath, who are on a national tour, will be playing a two-hour set of all the favourite songs from Ozzy and Co.
Imagine the most crazy, realistic Ozzy frontman... and then turn it up a notch or 10! Jim Mackenzie is the top UK Ozzy without doubt! Together with a superb guitarist, Steve Forward, who captures the whole spectrum of Tony Iommi with such classics like War Pigs, Killing Yourself to Live, Iron Man and Children of the Grave etc and that's not all. The guitar wizardry that Ozzy has had throughout his solo career in the guise of Randy Rhoads and Zakk Wylde with such songs as Mr. Crowley, Bark at the Moon, I Don't Know and Perry Mason etc. are all handled with frightening ease! Last, but definitely not least, comes the foundation behind this most powerful tribute to the 'Grandfathers of Heavy Metal'. A bassist, Pete Webb, who has obviously studied Geezer Butler's sound and style in the way of 'bends and slurs' note perfect and a drummer, Jim Gardner, who constantly 'feeds off' and 'feeds to' the rest of the band throughout the 'highs and lows' of a full two- hour set which consists of 'Thunder-Rain' and 'Sirens' etc.
