Amroth Community Council is holding a fundraising charity weekend to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee on June 2, 3 and 4. It is being supported by all local businesses and the following events will be taking place across the community council area on the three days of the celebration weekend.

Saturday: At Wiseman's Bridge - Wisemans Bridge Inn, music in evening; Sunday or Monday - a treasure hunt.

Sunday: At the New Inn end of the village - children's fun day and barbecue; the New Inn - live entertainment in the evening.

Monday: Children's fun day/music with entertainment in the bar at Amroth Castle.

Amroth village - bouncy castle/big slide and stalls from 11 am; children's beach sports organised by the Telpyn team 12 noon; Ho! Ho! Ho! Be a pirate; Birds of Prey (many rescued by Tinker's Hill); stone sculpture competition from 11 am (build a castle for the Queen) - judging 3 pm; pig roast from 5 pm; evening - beacon lit, fireworks 10.15 pm. Amroth Arms - band in the evening.

All proceeds from the weekend to local charities.
