Last Thursday, the Quaynotes enjoyed a combined music and social evening with members, family and friends of the Gateway Club, Tenby.

The evening, hosted by Valerie Coates-Rees, was a mixture of choral singing and audience participation, and it turned out to be a great success, enjoyed by all present.

Solo items were performed by Caroline Llewelyn and Bronwen Hicks, the Welsh heart of the choir, who sang 'David of the White Rock'.

Conductor for the night, in the absence of musical director Sharron Lusher, was the very talented Elvina Griffiths, who along with accompanist Eileen Thomas, made for a grand evening of musical entertainment.

The choir's next performance is on Sunday night, 8 pm at Manorbier Church.
