Last Friday, the Quaynotes Choir were at the RAOB Club Kilgetty, where they gave a performance to raise money for Cancer Research.

An evening which started with 'Love changes Everything' and a grand finalé of a selection of music from Lionel Bart's 'Oliver' kept everyone entertained.

Mel Hicks was in fine form with a version of 'Hymns and Arias' that Max Boyce would have been proud of, and a witty and professional performance of 'A Hive full of Honey' by Val Evans meant that a good night was had by all.

It was the choir's unanimous decision that the money offered as a donation for their services should be returned to the charity in recognition of the fine work that they do, which benefits one and all.

The choir's next performance is at Carew Wesley Chapel on Friday, November 25.
