Last Friday, The Quaynotes, led by interim conductor Elvina Griffiths (pictured with accompanist Eileen Thomas), performed at East Williamston Village Hall.

A lovely place to sing with friendly people and good acoustics.

With a programme consisting of songs from the shows, always popular with audience and choristers alike, the evening got of to a lively start.

After a short interval, entertainment continued with a performance by the 'holy order of sacred ladies' (Kilgetty Golden Age branch) who wowed every one with their talented singing, dancing and humours asides. I am reliable informed that they take a vow of silence between performances. Catch them if you can, very entertaining.

Refreshments provided by the ladies of the village brought a grand evening's entertainment to a satisfactory conclusion.

The Quaynotes' next performance is March 1 at Begelly Church for St. David's Day, as for the nuns...
