The Pembroke supporters of the RNLI, as part of their Trafalgar celebrations, invited the Quaynotes mixed choir to give a short after-dinner concert to finish of their fund-raising evening held recently at Pembroke Town Hall.

The choir's performance of songs from the shows and pieces with a nautical flavour was well received by everyone present.

Highlight of the evening was Colin Rogers's atmospheric and evocative version of the bass solo piece 'Sea Fever'. Colin, a long-time member and soloist with Cor Meibion De Cymru, has recently joined the Quaynotes, and hopefully his fine bass voice will be adding to their sound for many years to come.

The choir take a short break from  performing before returning in December with their eagerly awaited Christmas concerts in Narberth and Carew.
