Sir,
I write in response to your article headlined 'Conditional discharge for Cresselly man' printed in your paper dated Friday, September 27.
The record, as they say, must certainly be put straight as some the details given at the court and later recorded were incorrect.
Firstly, the flat at the Milton Brewery was not Mr. David Michael Hyde's flat; he had merely stayed there for a few nights with a friend.
Secondly, I was horrified to read that Mr. David Hyde had given himself the job and title of chef at Milton Brewery when in fact he had only ever washed-up after a few Sunday lunches. Not only that, but our 'real' chef is actually called David as well!
Thirdly, it was stated that the police had attended the premises. Again this was untrue; Mr. Hyde was apprehended on the main road through Milton and not at the pub.
