A town councillor and secretary of the South East Pembrokeshire Community Health Network, has asked locals to put in writing any problems they have experienced receiving healthcare, since the Minor Injuries Unit at Tenby Hospital closed.

Speaking at Tuesday night's meeting of the Town Council, Clr. Mrs. Caroline Thomas, one of the local campaigners who fought to keep the facility open, told her fellow members that a lot of people had approached her speaking of their problems, but she needed information to be put in writing so that she could pass it on to the relevant people.

"Lot's of people are telling me things, but I have to have things in writing, I just can't go on hearsay, so any problems that people have experienced or any queries that anyone has, then put them in writing and I can pass them on," she explained.

"It seems that the number of people having problems in the area since the MIU closed is quite large," added Clr. Mrs. Thomas.
