One hundred and seventy youngsters took to the pitch last week to take part in a primary schools hockey competition.
Seventeen teams from schools across the county competed in the initial stages of the Activate competition organised by Sport Pembrokeshire - the sports development arm of Pembrokeshire County Council, along with the Welsh Hockey Union.
Four teams - Prendergast, Llanychllwydog, St. Teilo's and St. Oswalds - made it through the Pembrokeshire finals, which will be held on Friday, June 10, in Fishguard.
Angela Miles, hockey development officer for Sport Pembrokeshire, said she was very impressed with the standard of hockey played.
"It was wonderful to see 170 youngsters from all over the county taking part in the tournament," she said.
Eight teams - Ysgol Wdig/Goodwick School, Llanychllwydog, Ger y Llan, Croesgoch, Bro Dewi, Maenclochog (2) and Prendergast - played in the north pool of the competition at Fishguard.
And nine teams - Johnston, Mary Immaculate, St. Teilo's, St. Oswalds, Templeton (2), Brynconnin (2) and Narberth - took part in the south pool at the Sir Thomas Picton pitch in Haverfordwest.
The top four teams of both pools made it through to the finals.
The matches were refereed by Wendy Burge, Angela Miles, Chris Lewis and Stacey John.
