A group of Dyffryn Taf pupils were awarded certificates in the school library earlier this week. All the students pictured successfully completed the SULP (Social Use of Language Programme) and were presented with a certificate to recognise this achievement.
This programme, based on social communication, focuses on conversational, listening and social interaction skills. It aims to improve confidence and a variety of formal and informal social settings. Former pupil Jonathan Davies, who is now a member of the Scarlets rugby squad and a Wales Under 20 international player, returned to Dyffryn Taf to present the certificates along with headteacher Mr. Newsome.
