A number of local 'taster days' are being held by the Prince's Trust as part of its Staying With It project. Staying With It is a successful engagement project funded by the Big Lottery and managed on behalf of Pembrokeshire County Council by the Prince's Trust. Through a programme of positive activities, the project sets out to energise, motivate, boost confidence and ultimately engage in the world of work, training or education, young people aged 16 -19. Activities are free and include: outdoor activities such as coasteering, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, orienteering, surfing and more; life skills such as cooking, budgeting and careers sessions; and community, art and music projects such as making a CD, building walkways, beach cleans and pond clearing - all good clean fun! So, if you are aged 16-19 and not currently in work, education or training, why not find out more about the Staying With It programme by going along to one of the taster days during August? Free minibus picks up are available. Activities on the day will be kayaking or rock climbing.
