Well done to Mrs. Catherine Williams's class at Monkton Junior School who have been growing these pretty poppies, B&Q gave Pembroke Town Council some poppy seeds to make the town more attractive and also to commemorate the First World War. Clr. Melanie Phillips gave some seeds to Monkton Juniors and gave them a little talk about the war and the significance of the Flanders poppy. These poppies were planted by Mrs. Williams's class. She says that they are really proud of their efforts. Pembroke Town Council is too. Well done Mrs. Williams's class!
