THE magnificent Gordon Hallwood Cup is awarded to the clubman at Narberth Rugby Club who has given committed service and loyalty over a great many years.

This year it was decided to award it to two members who rightly justify that award.

Chairman John Owen and vice-chairman Dorian Phillips have given the club sterling service over the years, first as players and later as committee members and active hands-on supporters.

They were presented with the trophy recently by Gordon Hallwood's son Colin.
