Two local schools have been praised by Tenby Town Council this week.

Both Clr. Lawrence Blackhall and Clr. Mrs. Tish Rossiter told their fellow members at Tuesday night's meeting of the council that they had attended the 60th anniversary celebrations of Tenby Infants School last week, held at the town's St Mary's Church, and congratulated the school on the event, which they said they thoroughly enjoyed.

"The children and the teachers are a credit to the town," said Clr. Mrs. Rossiter.

Clr. Dr. Peter Easy also offered his congratulations to St. Teilo's Catholic Primary School on the results of the recent Estyn report that was published recently.
