South Pembs Hunt branch of the Pony Club completed their activities in 2002 with their Xmas Party held at Jeffreyston Inn, where they were provided with a superb buffet and disco over 65 attended and all had a great evening. Some parents even surprising their children on how they could move on the dance floor.
During the evening they had a surprise visit from Father Christmas who happened to be passing, he arrived with a sackful of goodies for all members and friends.
The Branch presented the outgoing District Commissioner Mrs. Millie Scale with a Cut Glass Decanter and Glasses and a special bottle of Port for Mr. Jack Scale for all his help and letting the Branch use his land and invade his house for various events.
Miss Dawn Harries has now taken over the role as District Commissioner and has already proved to be a big hit on the dance floor and the branch wishes her all the best for the forthcoming year.
