TWO of Cardiff's top guitar bands will be appearing at the Queen's Hall, Narberth, next Friday, February 28.

The Scooters are no strangers to live performance. With two successful US tours under their collective belts, they have quite a profile across the pond. In fact, Alanis Morisette nominated their second album, 'I can see your house from here', for the US equivalent of the Mercury awards, The US Shortlist awards.

They now feel it's time to crack their own country!

The Scooters are an amazing live band, using vocal harmonies to complement their hook laden songs.

As a companion to The Scooters, new-kids-on-the-block, Noisecandy, fit the bill perfectly! The group of five 18-year-olds are creating a bit of a buzz around South Wales and are hoping to do the same around the country in the coming year.

Already showcased by Radio Wales (who are hailing the band as the 'next big thing'), it is hard to believe they have only notched up a handful of live gigs as their performances are already so polished and confident.

Doors for the Queen's Hall performance open at 8 pm, with tickets priced at £5.
