More school vandalism

Damage was caused to a large window at Tenby Junior School sometime over the weekend. This was the latest in a series of ongoing incidents at the Heywood Lane school over recent months. "It is apparent that a lot of damage is being caused by children climbing on the school roof," said a police spokesman. "Police would like to remind children of the fact that they are not supposed to be in the school grounds at any time when the school is closed and also of the dangers of children climbing on the roof," the spokesman added. Local police are investigating a burglary which occurred at a property in Scandinavia Heights, Saundersfoot, sometime between Monday, September 6 and Monday, September 13. This latest incident forms part of a series of crimes that have been committed in the same area over the last week. Window damaged

A wooden picnic chair was used to damage a window at Fiveways Garage, The Green, Tenby, sometime between 10 pm on Saturday and 6 am on Sunday. Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC270 Pugh at Tenby police station on 842303.

Police issue warning

Local police have issued a warning to householders to ensure the doors and windows of their properties are secure after burglaries at three properties in the area. Two properties were entered at Kilgetty, while one was broken into in Saundersfoot. Anyone with any information about the incidents is asked to contact Tenby police station on 842303.

Bench thrown over cliff

Sometime between 8 pm Thursday, September 9 and 8 am the following morning, a bench in the Paragon Gardens, Tenby, was thrown over the cliff onto the beach below. Anyone with any information is asked to contact WPC 1018 Kelly at the town's police station on 842303.

Hut vandalised

Damage has been caused to the Kilgetty Scout Hut during the last couple of weeks. Graffiti has been sprayed on the walls, windows have been scratched by a nail or a similar object and the fuse box has been stolen from the electricity metre. Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or who may have any information to contact them at Narberth police station on 860389.
