Police in Tenby are investigating two burglaries which occurred at hotels in the town over the Easter weekend. Sometime during the early hours of Good Friday morning, a burglary occurred at the Clarence House Hotel on The Esplanade. Intruders broke in through a rear window and stole a quantity of alcohol. Around the same time, a similar incident took place at the Park Hotel, North Cliff. This time, a quantity of cash was stolen. "As the result of assistance of a local resident, the property stolen from the Clarence has been recovered," explained DC Andrew Couzens, of Tenby police station. "However, we are still investigating both burglaries and are appealing for anyone else who may have seen anything suspicious to contact us," he added. Anyone who can help officers with their inquiries is asked to contact DC Couzens at the police station on 842303.
