A BOOK of assorted poems, ‘Poetry for her Grandchildren,’ was sold at the home of Mary Rowell in Tenby recently in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

It is a charity close to Mary’s heart, as her great-grandson suffers from the debilitating condition.

Everyone had a lovely afternoon in the sunshine and enjoyed the large selection of homemade cakes available.

The poetry book was illustrated by the talented Samuel Griffiths.

Over £400 has been collected so far and many thanks go to all those who attended the event and made donations.

Copies of the book are still available and can be obtained from JRJ Frames in Upper Frog Street, Tenby, with all donations going to Cystic Fibrosis.
