Last Friday, staff at Celtic Haven were delighted to raise a huge £1,313 at their Macmillan ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’, welcoming old friends and new for a slice of the action at Waves cliff-top restaurant.

The turnout was even better than last year and the atmosphere was absolutely fantastic, with a huge array of homemade cakes for sale (mostly baked by the talented Celtic Haven team!), along with tea, coffee and a charity raffle.

Sarah from Celtic Haven said: “After such a brilliant morning with a great bunch of people, discovering we had raised more than £1,300 for Macmillan was truly touching.

“We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who baked delicious cakes, donated fabulous raffle prizes, bought raffle tickets and showed support by coming along on Friday! We are quite overwhelmed by the response and we were so pleased to see everyone coming together to help such a worthy charity.

“Congratulations go to our lucky raffle winners who took home some fantastic prizes courtesy of the very generous local companies and people listed below. We were also lucky enough to receive generous cash donations from The McLaren Salon in Pembroke, Tenby Taxis and John Haines which all went straight into the Macmillan fund - thank you all so much.”
