Re. the proposed planning application to provide a civic amenity site next to Brooklands Nursing Home.

My sister is in the home, and I have recently found out that the council are stating on a CD, in Paragraph 14, that quote 'they met some of the relatives on July 19, 2012, who agreed with the site being built next to Brooklands Nursing Home' unquote.

Well I must, as a relative and a member of the Relatives Support Group, rectify this. I met with Clr. Rowlands and Clr. Phil Baker, along with a lady named, I think, Sarah Edwards and a gentleman, whose name I cannot recall. I met with these people on the above date at 4 pm at the County Hall, along with two of the other relatives, namely Mrs. Betty John and Mrs. Pat Mills.

I can assure you that we certainly did not agreee with plans that they had shown at that meeting. We would like your readers to know the truth.
