Sir,
We have just returned from our annual holiday in Tenby and unfortunately feel compelled to write regarding the dilapidated state the town appears to be falling into.
The Royal Gate House site is not at all a welcoming vision. Surely it would have been better to have completely raised it to the ground and cleared away all the rubble, slabbed the area and put in benches and flower tubs, until it was decided what is going to happen with the site. What a welcoming sight, rather than that horrible grey fencing. The pavement leading towards White Lion Street is a disgrace and surely an accident waiting to happen.
The shelters on the North Walk used to be a lovely place to sit in the evening and seek refuge from the rain for locals and visitors, but it now appears that yachts have taken precedence over people.
So please council, can something be done before the question round the table is 'Where have all the visitors gone this year?'
