Templetots playgroup recently raised an amazing £401 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. The Crocus Walk nationally receives huge support and last year the playgroup took part as two of the mums were receiving treatment at the time. "We felt such a worthwhile cause deserved our support again," said a spokesperson. Staff, parents and children met at Carew Castle for a beautiful spring walk, and the following week, just a few mums and staff walked the seven-and-a- half-miles around Llys-y-fran reservoir. Also, many congratulations to Templetots for receiving two awards at the Celebration of Childcare in Pembrokeshire, held recently at the Pavilion, Withybush, Haverfordwest. First was a long service award for being open for over 25 years and the other was in recognition of attaining Estyn and Quality Assured status.
