This year, the Tenby Players will be performing at the Pembroke Festival, September 3 - 12. Derek Benfield's hilarious farce, 'A Fly In The Ointment', is sure to go down well with all family members, when the Players perform at the Pembroke Castle Marquee on Tuesday, September 7, at 7.30. Other dramas slotted for the festival are Pembroke's East End Flyover Company performing a bawdy and humorous excerpt from Chaucer's 'Canterbury Tales' during the Medieval Supper at the Castle, on Saturday, September 4, at 7.30; the minstrels of La Volta will also be performing. A quick change for the Flyover Company as the next day, Sunday, September 5, they are offering Flora Thompson's wonderful evocation of country life at the turn of the last century, in 'Lark Rise to Candleford'.
