Players stalwart honoured

TENBY Town Council has paid tribute to Tenby Players stalwart Barbara Fisher.

Mayor of Tenby, Clr. Mrs. Christine Brown, chose the final performance of Under Milk Wood - presented at the De Valence Pavilion by many of the cast of the original 1971 Players' production, in honour of Mrs. Fisher - to pay the town's own tribute to the amateur dramatic company's longstanding director for enhancing the theatrical life of Tenby throughout the Players' 50-year history.

To mark the occasion, the Mayor presented her with a special 600th Charter/Queen's Jubilee loving cup.
