THE Tenby Players, directed by Len Harvey, are in the final stages of rehearsal for this summer's hilarious farce at the De Valence Pavilion. The comedy is the West End and touring success, 'A Fly in the Ointment', by Derek Benfield, and will be staged each Thursday evening from August 19 to September 16 inclusive. The Players will also perform the farce on Wednesday, September 22, as part of the Tenby Arts Festival. The doors of the theatre will be open at 7.15 pm on those dates and curtain will be at 8 pm. Ticket prices are regular £5 and concessions £4, and will be available from mid-August at Val's Cafe; at the Information Centre at Kilgetty; and in the De Valence foyer from 7.15 pm on performance evenings. The Players have also been invited to perform 'A Fly in the Ointment' at Pembroke Castle on the evening of Tuesday, September 7. The cast for all of these performances is a mix of experienced members and talented newcomers, and includes Miranda Davies, Steve Butler, Gordon Collins, Joni Whitfield, Aine O'Connell and Adam Murry.
