Following a short dedication ceremony at Mountain (Lanteague) Chapel Memorial Gardens on September 9, the unveiling of a plaque in memory of relatives of those who had given donations towards planters and flowers in the garden area was carried out by Rev. Sarah Geach. An introduction and background on the history of the chapel was given by Clr. Tony Brinsden (also chairman of the History Society).  The garden area is where the chapel once stood, before its demolition in the early 2000s. The gardens and plaque were organised by Llanteg History Society, who were pleased to see so many relatives and friends at the chapel for the ceremony, and also back at the Village Hall for tea and a chat afterwards.  Those who had donated towards the planters were given a framed photo of the chapel and a thank- you letter for their support.
