Green fingered enthusiasts should make a date with Haverfordwest Farmers Market. For the award-winning market is holding a special spring planting event today (Friday).
Herbs, flowers and vegetable plants will be on display to mark the coming of spring. There will be exhibitions and flower displays, while experts from local nurseries will be on hand with advice ands tips.
In addition, members of the Pembrokeshire's Strategic Recycling Project will be offering advice and practical demonstrations on how to home compost.
This follows a move by the county council to give every household in Pembrokeshire a free compost bin in a bid to reduce landfill waste. The fortnightly market is open from 9 am to 3 pm.
