Tenby councillors have welcomed an application in the town from HSBC for new signage at their bank on Tudor Square.
The application for the replacement of two existing external ATM signs with two new external ATM signs which will go before the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, was given the thumbs up by members of Tenby Town Council at their meeting on Tuesday night.
“I was a little bit confused by the proposal, but if it seems that HSBC are to introduce a second ATM for the high street, then that is fantastic,” commented Clr. Laurence Blackhall.
“It’s great that they are investing in their frontage, and shows an ongoing commitment from HSBC to banking in the town, which is encouraging,” he added.
Councillors’ recommendation of approval will now be passed on to PCNPA for consideration.
