A full planning application for a development of 29 residential dwellings on land to the rear of Knowling Mead in Tenby on the site of the former Reeves Calendars and Five Arches Press buildings, is now available to view at the town council offices.

A pre-planning application put forward by Cardiff-based planning and development consultancy Asbri Planning for the demolition of the buildings, which would see the redevelopment of the site for a mix of 29 homes, together with associated landscape and infrastructure works, was discussed by members of Tenby Town Council last November.

Speaking at Tuesday night’s meeting, the town clerk, Andrew Davies, informed members that the full application submitted to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority was now available in the offices at the De Valence for viewing, with the proposals due to be on the agenda of the next meeting of the town council.

“It’s quite a substantial file, so it would be beneficial for councillors to come in and have a look at the plans before the next meeting,” said Mr. Davies.

Councillors had previously expressed concerns over access issues to the site.
