Among planning applications considered by Tenby Town Council at their meeting this month, for recommendation to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority were the following:
NP/23/0118/FUL: Alterations to existing frontage including additional glazing, at 48 High Street, Tudor Square, Tenby (Approval was recommended - Members felt the proposals enhance the frontage of the building with no detrimental impact on it’s position within the Conservation Area or streetscape).
NP/23/0074/FUL: Reinstating chimney previously demolished; removal of skylight and installation of two conservation Velux windows to rear elevation, at Cliffside, Sutton Street, Tenby (Approval was recommended - Members felt the proposals restore former features and will have no adverse effect on the amenity of neighbouring properties).
NP/23/0130/S73: Variation of conditions 2 and 5 of NP/21/0175/FUL – Amendments to approved plans and changes to approved materials and finishes to workshop , at Greenwood House, Heywood Lane, Tenby (Approval was recommended).
NP/23/0089/FUL: Re-cladding of sales building, demolition of timber mill, relocation of yard racking and associated external works , at Jewson Ltd, The Green, Tenby (Approval was recommended - members feel the proposals will improve access and safety on site).
NP/23/0114/FUL: First floor extension (attic truss roof) and single storey side extension, at 10 Oakridge Acres, Tenby (Members agreed to defer their decision on this application to seek professional opinion as to whether the raising of roof levels will have a negative effect on the character and appearance of what is a single storey estate of dwellings).
NP/23/0152/LBA and NP/23/0156/ADV: Provision of new signage, alterations to shop layout; Remove existing signage (of Joules) and replace with FATFACE letter to match PT01RAL9010; replace existing projecting sign with new double sided timber sign at Gower House, Tudor Square, Tenby (Approval was recommended).
