Plans to introduce static caravans to a site on Old Narberth Road in Tenby have been given the thumbs up by local councillors.
An application from Mr. Shannon for a change of use of 10 camping pitches to 10 static caravans and ecological enhancement, at Windmills Caravan Park, came before members of Tenby Town Council at their meeting on Tuesday.
The town clerk explained that a previous application to introduce a higher number of units had been withdrawn and the applicants had come back with a reduced scheme.
Clr. Mrs. Caroline Thomas told her colleagues that she had been to the site and commented on how lovely it was up there.
Clr. Trevor Hallett said that he had no problem with the development, but had some concerns regarding past issues of surface water flowing down to areas below the site.
Councillors voted to approve the plans, with their recommendations to be passed on to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority for consideration.
