Last Sunday morning, the service was conducted by Mr. Quirk, Broadmoor.
There was no evening service due to the holding of the annual carol service.
A large congregation filled the church to enjoy the wonderful singing of the ever-popular Christmas carols. Again this year, Mrs. Christine Lloyd, of Pembroke Ferry, was invited to be guest conductor, and in her usual professional way she kept the singing going. Mr. Phil Lloyd was the compere for the evening, again with his humour and sincerity.
Mr. Maurice Cole introduced Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd to the congregation and welcomed all present. This included the Pembroke Ferry group of singers who were the guest artists, with soloist Miss Joan Lewi,s and their singing was greatly enjoyed. The party were later served with refreshments by the ladies of the church.
The proceeds of the evening will be sent to the Paul Sartori Foundation Fund.
This Sunday morning, Mr. John Davies, Pembroke Dock, will lead the service. There will be no evening service due to the children's Christmas service at Martletwy Baptist Chapel.
A Christian welcome is given to all to join in worship with friends at Pisgah.
