LADIES FELLOWSHIP

The ladies fellowship met on Wednesday, February 28, in the Sunday Schoolroom. Mrs. Doris James led the devotions and Mrs. Janice Scourfield played for the hymns. Mrs. James welcomed Mr. George Palmer to the meeting. George had brought along several examples of his woodcarvings, each of which had a story to tell. He had used several types of wood and had made a variety of useful and decorative pieces, all special to him and his family. The ladies admired George's creative ability and enjoyed the stories that made each piece unique. At the end of the evening, the ladies were served tea and biscuits by Gwyneth and May. The Ladies Fellowship will meet for their annual general meeting on Wednesday, March 14, at 7.30 pm.
