The staff and regulars of Pembroke Conservative Club in the Main Street have yet again bettered their previous efforts and raised the magnificent sum of £1,100 for the charity Breast Cancer Care.

Steward Karen Ringham worked hard on the planning of the pink night held earlier in the year and is sincerely grateful to all those who donated prizes, cakes and their time to make it so successful. The entire evening was enjoyed by all who joined in the annual event in memory of Audrey Thompson who lost her battle against breast cancer some years ago.

Seen receiving the cheque from Karen and Audrey's husband Keith is local volunteer for Breast Cancer Care, Sheila Ralph.
