AT the recent jazz piano exams in Carmarthen, Jack Stacey, who attends Ysgol Preseli, passed Grade 8 with distinction and Joseph Lockwood, Greenhil School, passed Grade 3 with merit.

In the Royal Schools of Music piano exams in Tenby, Dominic Belli from Greenhill School passed Grade 5 with distinction and Hannah Taylor, also from Greenhill, passed Grade 5 with merit.

Sabrina Morgan from St. Teilo's School passed Grade 4 with distinction, Leo Zanato, also from St. Teilo's, passed Grade 4. Alanya Thomas from St. Teilo's School passed Grade 2 and Ffion Ellaway from Tenby Junior School also passed Grade 2.

William Davies from Saundersfoot Primary School passed Grade 1 with merit and Sian Jones from Ysgol Preseli also passed Grade 1 with merit.

These pupils are all piano students of Jan Hartzell from Saundersfoot.
