Penally Village School's reunion of governors, teachers, former and present pupils and their many friends in the village will celebrate and remember over cups of tea and the festive barbecue just how important and significant the school has been in educating children and building community life. The 'All Age' Eucharist on Sunday, July 16, at 9.30 am, led by Team Vicar Michael John with young people, will in words and music be celebrating 'The Happiest Days of Your Life.' The young people, as well as others, can share their memories and can say an enormous thank you for the school and all that it has given them. They too are part of today's church. The church's spearhead 'Way Ahead' Group are especially concerned that the children and families are enabled to belong and grow up within the church and are encouraged to serve the village community. The church's popular 'Coffee Shop' will be opened that morning and the dedicated 'Teilo Car Service' will be available to bring people to this important service.
