Next Thursday afternoon, July 12, between 2 and 6 pm, Penally will be hosting its first Open Gardens. This is a new venture which it is hoped will raise money for the Village Hall and St. Nicholas and St. Teilo's Church Room Kitchen Fund.

There will be 10 gardens to view, plus an Art Exhibition in a Garden Room, and the very interesting 13th Century Village Church. There will also be Cream Teas and an Art and Craft Exhibition in the Village Hall, between 2 and 5 pm.

The gardens are varied and each one loved by their owners, so you are sure to see something of interest and some lovely views in the pretty village.

On the afternoon, either call at the Village Hall for a garden leaflet and map, or keep an eye out for an Open Garden sign. Each garden will also have a stock of leaflets and maps. Admission to all the gardens is by a leaflet which costs just £3 per adult (accompanied children only free). All are welcome.
