Penally Mothers' Union held their first meeting in Church Room on Wednesday, January 28. The office was taken by branch leader, Mrs. V. Paley, the theme being friendship and good neighbours.

A brief business meting was conducted, followed by the speaker, the Rector, Rev. Andrew Davies, who gave a very informal talk on his early days, followed by college and a variety of appointments both in Wales and England.

There followed much discussion and enjoyment of one another's company.

The next meeting will be on Ash Wednesday, February 25, when a service in church at 10 am will be followed by coffee.
