Penally community wished a fond farewell to their village warden, Danny Robb, this week, at a presentation at the Village Hall.
Danny, who is moving from the area after three successful years as warden, during which time he has achieved numerous accolades in the Wales in Bloom competitions, is leaving to live in Worcester, with some very happy memories of his time in Penally.
"I've enjoyed every bit of it here and loved my role as warden which has been so enjoyable and rewarding," said Danny on Monday.
"I would like to thank everyone here, especially the community council, who have given me so much support and always been there when I've needed them for anything.
"Clr. Carol Cavill and community council chairman Barry Jenks have been so kind and supportive. They have been exceptional and I couldn't have achieved what I've achieved without them; it's been a real team effort," added Danny.
As thanks for his services, Danny was presented with gifts and a collection from the community council, as well as one raised by the village.
