The latest round of the Pembrokeshire Velo time trial season at Sageston on Wednesday was cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. Last weekend, Pete Lloyd took part in the Port Talbot Wheelers 10-mile TT on the fast R10/22 course at Resolven. He posted an excellent time of 23.09 in windy conditions. Next Wednesday's time trial is the Neyland 10-mile. Meet at the lay-by on the Johnston road just outside Waterston at 6.45 for a 7 pm start. Event entry fee is £2 for seniors and £1 for juniors. The club welcomes anyone on any roadworthy bike - the only stipulation is that approved helmets must be worn during club events and the minimum age for road events is 13. The first event can be ridden as a come and try it event, after which membership to the club will be required for insurance purposes.
