Tenby and County Club (sponsored by LG Leisure and Get Stuffed Pizza Co) started the new season against Milford Cons at the County Club on Monday evening and were 3-2 winners.

The first frame saw Mark Cleevely take on P. Davies. Despite Mark not having his snooker glasses, he scrapped through on the pink.

The second frame saw Steve Cook take on M. McCarthy. Steve, not having picked up a cue for a number of weeks, was keen to prove he's got it and this proved the case, in some good pots early on. Steve continued in a good vein of form winning comfortably.

The third frame saw Martin Durham play. J. Davies senior. Martin, having work commitments, was another player who hadn't played much pre-season. However, he was holding up well and started to get a grip of this frame with some good early pots. He went on to win with breaks of 14 and 20 at the end.

The fourth frame saw captain Glyn Davies take on P. Davies. Glyn was back to his usual self carrying on from last year losing on the pink again.

The last frame saw Dave Wooles play J. Davies junior. Dave was another rusty player and it wasn't until his opponent hit a 28 break that Dave started to wake up, but he was definitely up against it and this proved the case as Dave struggled to get any rhythm throughout the frame, eventually going down on the black.
